DAP Odin S-218A Active Line-Array Ultra Subwoofer

The DAP Odin S-218A is an extra bold, heavy weight Ultra Subwoofer suitable for medium to big crowds. It produces an awesome wall of sound with a frequency response as low as 28 Hz for an extremely low bass. The internal high-power 4 KW Class D amplifier has a peak output power of 10,000 watts. The subwoofer is intended to be used in combination with T-8A Line Array Satellites for a super punchy full-range sound.
The Odin S-218A is equipped with two 18″ Celestion Ferrite Magnet subwoofers containing 5″ voice coils producing up to a staggering 141 dB SPL @ 1 meter distance. The DSP settings are configurable to make sure that the S-218A delivers under any circumstance and in any setup.
Several DSP presets are available, including preset for “Cardioid” and “End Fire” mode. A great addition to the T-8A Satellite and S-18A Subwoofer to literally bring more punch and depth to your live shows.
Free Odin Editor software, in combination with the CL-4 Connect, allows you to freely adjust the EQ, gain and delay per speaker or per group of speakers from a Windows PC/laptop. It also allows you to monitor live information from each speaker, such as amplifier temperature and high/low output. In addition, EASE Focus 3 software can be used to calculate the splay angle and ”Throw”. A plug-in has been developed for adding our speakers to its database.
